SCG Group won the deal to acquire 70% share of 5/22 member companies of Duy Tan Plastic Jsc through SCG Packing (a subsidiary of SCG Group), especially the companies which have operated in packaging plastics and household plastics.
SCG Packaging is one of the three largest companies belonging to SCG Group – a multi-industry Thai group. SCG did outstanding M&A deals in Vietnam including acquiring Prime Group – a brick manufacturing company, Tin Thanh packaging company, and Binh Minh plastic company.
Duy Tan Jsc is one of the largest companies in the plastic industry in Vietnam and had the large market share with over VND 3.000 billion of revenue annually in the period 2016 – 2019, in 2020, revenue of Duy Tan reached over VND 4.700 billion. Its profit margin has stably grown at 18% annually and Its gross margin has maintained at 20%. [...]
